Shipping & Returns
The Stain Depot ships most U.S. orders UPS ground. However, sometimes due to the size of the order, weights, and dimensions UPS may not be able to handle the order and we will have to ship freight. In this circumstance, shipping rates may change. Direct freight orders come on a semi-truck and may need a liftgate. Sometimes it is hard if not impossible to get freight shipments to a residential address. Please leave your phone number so we can arrange delivery. Call for exact rate on bulk orders.
Most orders will ship same day if ordered before 4:00 p.m. EST. Sometimes product availability will cause shipment delays – especially on slowing moving colors. We work diligently to keep any delays to a minimum. We will contact you on delays.
We ship international through freight forwarders in Florida and/or California.

If a non voc compliant product is ordered a $5.00 cancellation fee will be charged if the order is not wanted. We will be happy to refund your $5.00 if a voc compliant product is ordered. For example, TWP 100 and Sikkens SRD are a 550 voc product and can not be shipped to all states. If you order these products in a voc compliant state the fee will be charged and your order cancelled. Please order TWP 1500 or Sikkens Cetol SRD RE.
We take great care in filling, checking, and packing your order. On rare occasions, a package may be lost or damaged in transit. For your own protection, you should always carefully inspect any shipment before accepting delivery. If damage has occurred, you must note it on the delivery receipt. If a truck shipment is damaged, you must also immediately have the shipment inspected by the carrier. Obtain an inspection report from the carrier and forward a copy to us.
According to government regulations, any claim must be filed within 15 days after receipt of the shipment.
Any product that is accidentally damaged causing product loss or equipment failure during shipping will be replaced at no charge after a claim has been made though the shipping company. Cans or pails that are dented during shipment will not be replaced, please remember you are purchasing the liquid product inside of the can, not the can. During transit, cans will get dented. Cans get filled at the factory and may have some drips outside of them, this is common. If a can is leaking digital picture will be required prior to return.
For Customer Order Errors email firstname.lastname@example.org and we will be happy to assist you in returning your merchandise. If the return is due to circumstances beyond our control, such as wrong item ordered, or wrong quantity ordered, the return will incur a 20% restock fee and the freight must be prepaid. All items must be in undamaged and in resalable condition when we receive it, otherwise no credit will be given. Stain which has been tinted a particular color cannot be returned.
If your return request has been approved you will receive a return authorization via email as well as shipping instructions. Contact UPS and arrange for your return. You are responsible for freight or shipping charges.
If we have made an error in processing your order we will be happy to assist you in returning product to our warehouse. Please report these errors within 48 hours and we will issue you a return authorization and packing instructions. We will then arrange for freight and issue a call tag for UPS to pick up the package for The Stain Depot.
All sales on SAMPLE orders are final. No returns accepted. You are paying mainly for shipping and packaging with the samples.
Any unopened Rymar product return will incur a 20% restocking fee. Customer is responsible for shipping charges on returns. Opened products or products that are not in condition to resale, will not be returned. In some cases we will ship Rymar directly from the distributor. We simply pass on the restock cost to you.
All items carry manufactures warranty only. No exceptions.
